The E-rate program, administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company, provides discounts to libraries purchasing eligible telecommunication services.
WVLC applies for discounts associated with the Statewide Library Network that provides Internet access to public libraries throughout the state as well as provides assistance to libraries applying for discounts on basic telephone and long distance service.

- » The USAC released the first wave of funding for FY 2011 on June 23, 2011. Sixty-six West Virginia Libraries were committed in this first wave totaling $96,580.34. To see if your library was committed use the Automated Search of Commitments (ASC) Tool on USAC's website.
